Misa de 12 is the result of turning around in the face of life's setbacks, of looking the obstacles that have come our way over the years squarely in the eye.

Our long-established company almost closed and left us in a precarious situation with many outstanding salaries and with a background of almost 35 years of work in a sector that had nothing to do with the hotel and catering industry.

After a year of unsuccessfully looking for different job opportunities, a window has opened for us in the form of a tiny bar in the centre of the city Córdoba.

We faced this challenge with more enthusiasm than knowledge, but we learned from mistakes and above all from many hours of work.

Little by little we learned more or less how the hotel business works and our customers made us grow day by day.

And just when everything seemed to be going well, along comes a pandemic that wipes everything out and puts us back to square one.

We had learnt that we liked this trade and that we were not typical barkeepers, which pleased our customers very much, as neither our manners, nor our treatment, nor anything else we did was what they were used to. We were simply innkeepers who were not really innkeepers but who had made this their trade and their way of life.

Even with the pandemic we decided to go all out and transform an old bar into a cosy and different place. We went from a 12m2 to a 130 m2 place and on top of that we lived with many restrictions due to a pandemic that has revolutionised the life of the whole planet.

At that moment Misa de 12 was born, a place that in the words of our decorator is "rustic, refined, fresh and modern", a declaration of intent of the style we had created inside.

A simple, beautiful and pleasant place that emulates the living room at home where there are sofas, curtains and even a fireplace with books by great national and local writers.

We could not forget the origin of everything, so we could not forget our "Entrecalles Corner" in which we show part of the photographs that we had in the other place and that reflect the life of Aguilar de la Frontera in the middle of the last century.

In our menu you will find on the one hand a classic side and on the other hand a more daring side that we enjoy very much and that usually appears in our "off menu".

To sum up, Misa de 12 is our life, our dream and our day-to-day school, where the customer is the most important thing for us and where we hope to meet you to toast together while we look life in the face.
